This key is a rather special key – it has sprung from the fantasy tale ”Askenfjeld” by Anne Spanget-Larsen, where the main character Mirja finds it:
Ravens amulet. It feels surprisingly heavy in Mirja's hand as she lifts it by its leather thong. A peculiar little root stump with beautiful veins and structures in the wood. ”Is it a key?” asks Mirja. The moment she asks the question, it strikes her how foolish it sounds. Anyone can see that it is just a wooden root and not a key.
You'll find out what the key is for if you read the book, which can be bought from the publisher. Krabat.
The key is hand-carved from wax, cast in sterling silver and is meticulously crafted in a limited number at the goldsmith in Copenhagen.
Our pendants are sold WITHOUT chain, If you want a chain included, it can be ordered here.

Rhodium plated or not?
White gold itself is a warm silver colour with a slight yellow tinge. Rhodium plating is like gold plating - a thin layer of metal on top of the jewellery. Rhodium plating gives a lighter, silver-white surface, but it wears off over time and needs to be renewed if the colour is to be preserved.
If you are unsure which of the two versions of white gold you want to wear, you can learn more here.
