However, the Castens version is a little different from the usual eternity ring because it is soft both on the inside and the outside. Rhodium plated or not?
White gold itself is a warm silver colour with a slight yellow tinge. Rhodium plating is like gold plating - a thin layer of metal on top of the jewellery. Rhodium plating gives a lighter, silver-white surface, but it wears off over time and needs to be renewed if the colour is to be preserved.
